has it been turned on?
changed in a way that would differ then if i bought it brand new? - "As new - opened box" means that the netbook has been opened for demonstration purposes only, for example for a catalogue photo shoot, an advertisement or product demo. In most cases, the netbook hasn't even been powered up, so you are literally receiving a product that is "As New".
The Samsung NC110 Plus also comes in the retail box with all of the original accessories included, and we re-shrinkwrap the netbook before dispatch to make it look as brand new as possible. - I was wondering if you would be able to provide the laptop with Windows 7 home rather than Windows 7 starter?
- Unfortunately we do not currently possess the relevant licences to provide Microsoft operating system software, although installing a version of Windows higher than Starter Edition is generally discouraged as they use more system resources, and would potentially slow the netbook down significantly.
