I wanted new Sagem promptly as going away. (Very old one gave up the ghost). Only glitch was that an unfortunate fuse problem when it arrived but we tried a new fuse in the plug and it has been perfect since. This is our 3rd Sagem and never had any problems. I phoned GoGo Digital to see if they could deliver in time as it was late in the day and they started the order placement for me so it was ready for despatch by the time I completed the online order. Was dissapointed when first recieved it in April. Better after intial over air upgrade to 2.5.1 but still glitches in play back of recorded programs. Checked Sagemcom website in June and noticed latest upgrade is 3.1.1. Now, no glitches in playback - picture and sound very good. Would now recommend.Price Service Quality

- I am thinking of buying this to replace my sky hd box , does it work through the aeriel or is there anything else you need to install?
- This unit and all of our Freeview recorders (standard and HD) work directly off of a standard Freeview aerial. We do advise all customers to check their signal is of adequate quality to receive uninterrupted viewing of Freeview channels.
If you are looking for a recorder to work off of your existing Sky satellite dish then you will need a Freesat product and notably at least two LNBs (this allowing the minimum required 2 'cable feeds' for all freesat recorders).
