The MCDX220IS has a vertical CD load system with motorized door, and the remote control has an LCD display with blue background illumination. Connections include audio in as well as a headphone input and of course a built in iPod Docking station. The receiver also provides three types of digital timer. Sleep Timer to enable power off, to wake yourself up or turn off after you sleep. Despite its compact size, the MCDX220IS provides a hefty yet stable power output of over 20 Watts, this is more than enough to drive the speakers and let you enjoy the superior sound quality of a wide variety of musical recordings. Complete with a full function remote control and a 3.5mm headphone jack for late night listening.
