12 Megapixels with 3x optical zoom
Heading up the Finepix JV 100’s talents is a 12 megapixel sensor to deliver high quality images which comfortably retain their rich detail, even when cropped and enlarged.
Capturing distant detail, wide landscapes, big group shots, through to candid photos and portraits is not a problem thanks to the FinePix JV-100’s 3x zoom lens, which offers the equivalent of 37-111mm focal length. Flash-free photography in poor light is also a breeze with the Finepix JV 100’s ISO 1600 light sensitivity for sharp and vivid pictures at full resolution. ISO can be set as high as 3200 at 3 megapixel resolution.
HD Movie Recording
The Finepix JV100 100 captures 720p high definition (HD) movies, which can be played back on any HD-ready TV via the optional HDP-L1 HD player. A USB connection also allows images and movies to be uploaded to a computer quickly and easily.
Scene Recognition Auto
The Fuji Fine-Pix JV100 achieves top results in any situation. Automatic Scene Recognition function chooses ideal settings for six different scenarios including landscape, portrait, macro and night.
Face Detection with Additional features
For perfect ‘people’ pictures, the Fuji JV100 includes Face Detection technology to ensure clear results for up to 10 faces in a group. Smile and shoot mode waits for the subject to smile before firing the shutter, and blink detection waits until everyone has their eyes open. Red-eye removal is also included, plus a self timer allows the photographer to join group shots or take self-portraits after framing them on the bright 2.7” LCD monitor.

Face Detection can identify up to ten faces in the frame and optimises focus and exposure to ensure perfectly exposed faces. Plus, auto red-eye removal automatically removes red-eye for flawless people pictures.
Blink detection alerts the user of people blinking in a picture so you have the chance to retake the photo with everyone's eyes wide open.
