  • This would indeed be possible using the FST-280's aerial loop through, providing you have a fair - good signal strength in your home.

  • i cant get my seagate 500gb hardrive to reconise but works on a little scandisk 4gb and other usb sticks can you help. ty
  • Is your Seagate hard drive formatted to NTFS? To our knowledge the FST-280 will only recognise FAT32 format.

  • Can this be used to play back a recording on to a tv, or has it to be played back on a pc? I ask because we are thinking of buying one to use on a 19" tv in a touring caravan, it won`t take up much room!
  • Yes this unit allows you to playback recordings and also play music and view photos via it's USB input.

  • How do you rewind live tv the pause button only pauses and restarts live tv
  • You need to access the Menu->My Recorder->Recording Preferences and change the Time Shift function to AUTO - this will then allow you to rewind paused/recorded TV.

  • do you still need a terrestial or digital aerial or is the scart plug allou need to gain reception?
